Research
Present research in our department is focused on comparative physiology with special focus on innate immune reactions in invertebrates and the phylogeny of these processes. We also study invertebrate hematopoiesis, iron homeostasis of Drosophila melanogaster, fish physiology and molecular biology of animal pathogenic fungi.
