Research interests

My training and expertise is in microbial ecology. I am interested in microbial communities; how they cluster in population structures and which function they reveal in occupied niches. My original background lays in soil biology (Rhizosphere) with effects of Microbe-Microbe, Microbe-Plant and Plant-Microbe interactions. Since 2008, I joined Stefan Bertilsson´s group in the Institute of Limnology at EBC, Uppsala University, extending my view on microbial community structures into free-floating environments.
